Wireless Internet :: Wireless Device :: Wireless Light Switch

A wireless light switch allows you to put a light fixture in an area that doesn’t currently have a light without having to mess with hard wiring. A light fixture with a receiver base is placed in that area and a wireless light switch is installed into the wall where you would normally find a regular light switch. The wireless light switch transmitter sends a signal, when the switch is activated, to the receiver base in the light fixture giving it the command to turn on or off. Wireless wall light switches can be placed in areas where there’s an existing light fixture that’s controlled by a pull string. You would need to add the receiver base to the light fixture and install the wireless light switch to the location of your choice. There would no longer be any hassles of fumbling around in the darkened area looking for the pull string to turn on the light. The wireless light switch can be easily accessed before ever entering the dark area.

Those remodeling a room where they want to put a light in, choose the wireless control light switches to eliminate the hassles of having to have an electrician come in and drill holes in the wall, wiring the area to support the light fixture in the room. The wireless light switch is the simple and easy answer to that problem as you just install the wireless remote light switch in the wall. There’s no wiring involved.

Wireless light switches are seen in log cabin homes as it is too difficult to route the hard wire through the structure to install the light switches. By using the wireless light switches within the log cabin house, you can eliminate those hassles and eliminate the extra drilling that are normally seen.

A wireless light switch for general electric purposes without having to worry about wires is a less expensive way to get light into an area that didn’t have it before or an area that has the annoying pull string light that almost always comes off when you try to turn the light on.

Wireless light switches can be found at most home improvement stores and they come in many brands and types. There are the normal on/off wireless light switches when you just want a little light in an area and there are the 3 way control light switches that enable you to control the amount of light you receive in the area.
