Wireless Internet :: Wireless Device :: Wireless Telemetry

Wireless telemetry allows for the sending of the digital, analog and pulse data files over a transmission system instead of miles and miles of cable which would have to be laid and maintenance performed on. The wireless telemetry systems are used in many applications.

Wireless telemetry is used in remote monitoring for two-way communications and for activating remote equipment as well as deactivating the remote equipment.

Wireless telemetry is used in Industrial process control to provide a means of a cost effective way for communications within the Industrial sectors. This answers the constant need for the increased energy efficiency.

Wireless telemetry is also used in the water and waste treatments. The wireless telemetry helps provide data for the necessary processes to obtain clean fresh water for area residents. The wireless telemetry scada systems are used to enable to constant flow of cleaner water.

The wireless telemetry is seen in the alarm and security systems as well. They’re used in monitoring of vending machines, utility meter reading and in monitoring of security systems including vehicle location tracking.

You can also see the use of wireless telemetry in gas turbine applications. The wireless telemetry enables data signals to be sent to and from remote sensors found in the gas turbine engines. The signals could then be read through the intrinsically safe wireless telemetry systems.

Wireless telemetry can also be seen in energy management systems. This includes the usage and billing of energy systems, analysis of efficiency in energy resources and data collected for injuries and casualties in monitoring for future safety conditions.

Wireless telemetry is also in pollution monitoring and in food processing systems. The telemetry systems monitor rivers and streams to protect wildlife natural habitats and monitoring pollutants within the environments near Industrial plants.

The telemetry systems can also be seen within the oil and gas well sites. The Scada web based systems allow for an even more cost effective means of remote monitoring through several different sites. Before the web based systems were put into place, the well sites would have to have a main host computer running at each site which would cost them quite a lot of money.

The wireless telemetry market is now being recognized by many businesses as a more cost effective way to send data transmissions to remote sensors for obtaining the necessary data for the necessary monitoring of equipment. Wireless technology has enabled them to retrieve the data needed while saving money as well.

Wireless telemetry will eventually replace many hard wired applications that require connections, which would have lengths of cables or wires that would need an extreme amount of maintenance to keep remote monitoring flowing.
